The Work
Ren massage is a holistic bodywork technique that combines many East Asian modalities such as, but not limited to: Shiatsu, Zen Shiatsu, Tuina, cupping, guasha and moxibustion therapy, and use Aroma therapy as a complimentary modality (diffusion, external application on acu-points or as massage oil). Our focus is to address the root / the cause of the client’s discomfort instead of addressing solely the symptoms. Each session is tailored to the particular needs of the client and the healing process is profound and long lasting. Injury prevention, prophylactic treatment and therapeutic movement suggestions are included in our 60 or 90 minutes sessions.
Other Services
In addition to Ren massage we offer Aromatherapy treatments (consultation, blend formulas and point location's chart), Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, chair massage and sport massage. We also have Couples Massage sessions and Couples Massage classes. House calls available ($300 for initial visit of 90min and $ 250 for follow-up session of 60min. Within Manhattan only).
